The debate over the ‘death of retail’

Interesting take on eCommerce being a productivity efficiency of retail and therefore a critical piece of a story that an evolved retail is actually growing, not declining. It’s a perspective shift that I think anyone in the industry would understand and could open up some new ways to think about retail innovation in the years to come.

It’s clear here that we’re early and will begin to see this unfold in a much larger scale over the next 5-10 years with the convergence of digital/analog experiences and true omnichannel organizational structures instead of the traditional silos that still dominate the retail landscape.
